FizioBalance (hereinafter — "we" or the "Controller") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we process it when you use the fiziobalance.lv website or contact us to book physiotherapy services.

This privacy policy is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia.

What data we process

When you fill in the contact form, the booking form, or otherwise get in touch with us, we may process: contact information (name, phone number, email address), booking details (the service you're interested in, your preferred contact method), and the description of your problem that you provide.

If, in describing your issue, you voluntarily share information about your health condition, it is treated as a special category of data and is processed only with your explicit consent, which you confirm by ticking the consent checkbox on the form.

When you visit the site, depending on your cookie settings, technical data may also be collected: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and data from Google Analytics.

Legal basis for processing

Performance of a contract (including pre-contractual steps) — to prepare an offer and provide the requested service.

Your explicit consent — particularly regarding health data you provide in your problem description.

Legal obligation — for example, compliance with accounting and tax requirements.

Legitimate interests — ensuring website security and improving our services.

Purpose of processing

Responding to enquiries and arranging appointment times; providing physiotherapy services; preparing invoices and meeting accounting requirements; collecting anonymous statistics on site usage; sending informational messages — only if you have separately consented to this.

Contact form and booking request data — up to 2 years from the last contact.

Invoice and transaction data — 5 years (per accounting requirements).

Analytics data (Google Analytics) — up to 26 months.

Sharing data with third parties

We work with trusted service providers who may process some of your data on our behalf: email delivery provider (Brevo) — for sending confirmation and reply emails; hosting and IT maintenance provider; accounting services provider; public authorities — where required by law.

All service providers are bound by the same data protection requirements as we are.

Your rights

You have the right to: access your data; request its correction; request its erasure; restrict processing; receive your data in a structured format (data portability); object to processing based on legitimate interests.
